Fairfax County has 231 voting precincts (as of early 2010), each with its own polling place.

On Election Day, you must vote in the precinct where you're registered. All polling places in Virginia are open from 6 am to 7 pm. (See more on voting in person.)

  • In your wallet: Check the voter registration card sent by the County.
  • Online: Enter your address in the Virginia voter look-up service
  • By phone: Call the County Elections Office at 703-226-0776.

  • Dranesville District - 28 precincts, including McLean, Great Falls and Herndon
  • Hunter Mill District - 25 precincts, including Vienna, Wolf Trap and Reston
  • Providence District - 26 precincts, including Oakton and Tysons Corner
  • Sully District - 23 precincts, including Chantilly and Dulles
