Voting in Fairfax

Voters in Fairfax County participate in elections for county, state and Federal offices. County and state offices are elected in odd-numbered years; Federal offices are elected in even years.

General elections are held each November. Primary elections (to nominate candidates) may be called in any year by a party committee; primaries are held in June. Presidential primaries are held in February or March. Special elections (to fill vacancies) may be held at any time.

RCGR encourages all eligible Fairfax residents to register and to exercise their right to vote in every election. We invite you to meet our GOP candidates running at all levels, and to support their campaigns.
