Voters in Reston and Fairfax County participate in elections for county, state and Federal offices. Federal positions are elected in even-numbered years. State and County offices are elected in odd-numbered years. All general elections are held in November.

Primary elections (when called) are in June. Parties may also nominate by canvass or convention; those events are held within 30 days before the June primary.

RCGR encourages all eligible Reston area residents to register and to exercise their right to vote in every election. We invite you to meet our GOP candidates running at all levels, and to support their campaigns.
