President
The Presidential election in 2012 will allow America to chart a new path toward propserity, and to reject the disastrous big-spending over-regulating policies of the Obama Administration. Virginia may again be a battleground state.

That's "Super Tuesday" (when several states will hold primaries), and it's a few weeks later than the 2008 Virginia primary. To qualify for the primary ballot in Virginia, a candidate needed to file petitions with signatures from at least 10,000 voters; the filing deadline was Thu., Dec. 22, 2011.
Nomination: Our candidate will be nominated at the Republican National Convention, to be held Aug. 27-30 in Tampa.

U.S. Senator
Virginia will elect a U.S. Senator in 2012. Iit's an excellent opportunity for Republicans to pick up a seat. Incumbent Jim Webb (D) will not seek a second term, and several Republicans have already announced for the Senate seat (see news coverage). Webb ran in 2006 as a political centrist; but once in office, he supported the Obama/Reid/Pelosi agenda for big government - a record which undermined his prospects for re-election in Virginia.

Representative in Congress
Voters in Fairfax County will elect three member of Congress in 2012 - in the 8th, 10th and 11th Districts. The 11th District seat will likely be a high-profile target for Republicans -- incumbent Democrat Gerry Connolly was re-elected in 2010 by a very narrow margin (less than 0.5%). We welcome GOP candidates for the House.
Campaign news: Follow the latest news about the 2012 Senate and House races in Virginia.
Method of nomiation: To be decided by the 8th, 10th and 11th District Committees in December 2011.

The 8th District currently includes Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church, and parts of Fairfax (including the Reston area). The 10th District currently includes western Fairfax, western Prince William, Loudoun and counties to the west.
